Who?
I'm Thomas Mendez, part of the Dream Team here at SHS, along side Joel Dickinson and Jackson Finnegan.
- My GPA: It's pretty good.
- My Academics: Solid
- But neither of those things should matter.
But what does matter, is that I'm not afraid to try something new. There's a fine line between dumb and fun, and if we're too afraid as an ASB to be a little dumb, then we're never gonna be fun either. Vote Thomas Mendez for ASB Vice President.
Better Assemblies
Assemblies shouldn't feel like a responsibility, they should be a place to have fun, have spirit, and have a good time! I plan on making sure filler is cut, and things are planned out and practiced to make sure things don't get boring.
Better Dances
Dances shouldn't blend together, they should be memorable and a worthwhile. I plan on making sure themes are what the students want, votes are held with integrity, and making sure we're always up to something unique. Plus, spirit weeks worth participating in.
Better Involvement
Don't know how to get involved? I can help fix that! I plan on having club highlights, and helping extracurriculars advertise themselves so you know how to be a part of something you're passionate about.
What I Promise, I Deliver
I gain nothing from ASB. I'm not in this for the college application, or the public image, I'm genuienly passionate about making this school a place people want to be. My academics have nothing to do with how well I can organize and assemble people, because ASB isn't about academics. School can feel like a 9-5, but ASB is here to make it feel fun.
